Mo’ Money

October 19, 2009 by Tom Berry · 3 comments

Once again the Bite Communications boys are growing moustaches for charity. Every year in November, clean-shaven men around the world raise money for Prostate Cancer Research by allowing their top lips to spring forth with bristling fruitfulness.

Last year we raised a substantial sum, but this year we are hoping to smash our previous efforts by urging gentlemen in Bite offices around the world to grow moustaches and raise money for charity. We also want clients and friends to get involved – either through growing a mo yourself or donating freely to the cause or, preferably, both

The rules are simple: on the 31st October you must be clean shaven. You then must grow a moustache (not a full beard) of any style for a full month. We’ll be uploading pictures and updates to this blog as the moustaches emerge.

We have a charity page for donations set up at www.justgiving.com/hairybite so please donate. Your contributions and moustache-growing efforts will go a small way to helping the millions of men who suffer from Prostate Cancer every year.

Awesome idea Tom – consider the challenge accepted state-side.

Following on from McMatt post above, we are pleased to announce the launch of site for the US Biters who are taking part in Movember. You can meet the team, hear more about the rationale behind the fundraising idea, the charities and read/see/watch regular updates as the month progresses. Oh and of course donate – come take a look. http://cash4tache.wordpress.com/

Very cool that you guys are doing this…but quick question…how do the lady Biters get in on the action? ;)
Only kidding! We always hear so much around breast cancer awareness and fund-raising so I find it so refreshing and wonderful that you guys are doing this for prostate cancer (as my grandfather is a survivor). Well done!
